The trio will get up close and personal with guests when they take centre stage at the Grand Station on Friday April 8,

The conferencing and events venue, on Sun Street, have promised an evening of glitz and glamour with promoter Showfighter hoping to provide treble the value.

American big-hitters Riddick Bowe, Tim Witherspoon and Tony Tucker all held major titles during their storied careers in the ring.

'Big Daddy' Riddick, now 48, was the undisputed champion after winning the WBA, WBC and IBF titles and held the WBO belt later in the 1990s.

'Terrible Tim' - a name given to him by Muhammad Ali as a compliment for the problems he caused him when they were sparring - has some form in England.

Witherspoon came to our shores as holder of the WBA title in 1986, to make a first defence of the strap against Frank Bruno at Wembley Stadium.

He stopped Bruno in the 11th round and remains the last defending world heavyweight champion from the United States to successfully defend his title in England.

The 58-year-old also held the WBC crown, having previously challenged for the belt by pushing the great Larry Holmes to a hotly-disputed points loss.

'TNT' Tucker held IBF honours and still possesses an unwanted record - the dubious distinction of being the shortest-reigning heavyweight champion in history.

Just 64 days of 1987 had elapsed from Tucker, 57, knocking out James 'Buster' Douglas in 10 before honouring an agreement to take on Mike Tyson. He took 'Iron Mike' the distance, though.

Tickets are on sale now starting with 'bronze' passes priced at £20, which is for entry only.'Silver' is £40, with a world cuisine meal.

The 'gold' option is £60, with priority seating and a meal. 'Platinum' is £75 and offers all of the above, a champagne reception plus a meet and greet with the stars in the venue's Brunel Suite.

To purchase, call 01902 213 155 or go to www.showfighter.co.uk. The Grand Station can be contacted on 01902 454 550.
