Transfer Rumours - March 10
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Kenny Jackett is continuing to mull over an approach from Huddersfield for out of favour winger Rajiv van la Parra.
Van la Parra has made 16 appearances for Wolves this season, while also spending a part of the season on loan with Brighton.
WEST BROM
West Brom have reportedly invited Laurent Depoitre's agent to a match at The Hawthorns in an attempt to coax the Belgian striker into a move from Gent.
Albion are understood to have sent scouts on several occasions to watch the 27-year-old, who was an unused substitute in Gent's Champions League defeat at Wolfsburg on Tuesday night.
Other Premier League clubs are interested in the £8 million rated forward, including Tottenham, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.
Spurs have reportedly agreed a deal in principle to sign West Brom striker Saido Berahino.
The 22-year-old came close to joining the north London club last summer, with Spurs making four bids for the England international.
But West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace blocked a move, despite Mauricio Pochettino's side making a final offer of £25million, causing relations between the two teams to sour.
However it seems Tottenham have now finally got their man, with Peace ready to strike a deal with his Spurs counterpart Daniel Levy ahead of a move at the end of the season.
Sunderland and Albion are watching Bristol City defender Aden Flint, according to reports.
The giant centre-back has progressed well through the football pyramid, starting at non-league Alfreton Town before progressing to Bristol by the way of Swindon Town.
WALSALL
All quiet at the Banks's Stadium.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa are planning for life in the Championship with the transfer of Liverpool youngster Jerome Sinclair.
The 19-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season and looks unlikely to remain at Anfield, where he has found first-team opportunities limited.
AC Milan are already planning a cut-price bid to sign midfielder Jordan Veretout with Villa resigned to relegation
Jordan Ayew, Adama Traore and Idrissa Gueye are also all tipped to leave.
