Three world champions on nine different occasions will take fans back in time at Jacks Cafe & Bar on Frederick Street,

writes Craig Birch.

Five-time world champion Eric Bristow was the star of darts in the 1980s, with the 'Crafty Cockney' also remembered as the man who discovered Phil Taylor.

His nemesis Keith Deller was responsible for the biggest darts upset in history, coming through the 1983 World Championship unseeded to beat Bristow 6-5 in sets over a memorable final.

John Lowe is still one of only six players to have won the World Championship three times, when the BDO was still the sport's sole organisation before the formation of the PDC.

Bobby George is one of the most flamboyant performers darts has ever seen and is also regarded as one of the best players never to have won a world title.

'The King of Bling' was runner-up in 1980 and 1994 and has been on the circuit working exhibitions as a full-time profession since 1986.

The colourful Cliff Lazarenko was remembered more for his charisma and on-screen presence than his achievements, with third place in the 1981 worlds his best run.

Peter Manley completes the six-pack having courted controversy for most of his career, the three-time PDC World Championship runner-up a pantomime villain for his feud with Taylor.

Further entertainment will be provided by master of ceremonies John Gwynne, former PDC and now Sky Sports Soccer Saturday commentator.

The players will be flanked by the glamour on walk on girls Daniella Allfree and Charlotte Wood when they take to the stage.

Food and photo opportunities will be available on the night, along with a raffle and the chance to share a leg at the oche with one of the stars.

Tickets are still available priced at £20 standard and £40 VIP, with doors opening at 5.30pm for VIPs and 7pm for the general public. The venue will also host an after-show party until 2am.
