Transfer Rumours - February 29
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WEST BROM
Striker Saido Berahino's public apology and promise to focus on his football at West Brom won't deter his suitors from trying to entice him away from the Hawthorns.
Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have both made bids for the 22-year-old this season and could return with improved offers at the end of the campaign.
Albion boss Tony Pulis is delighted at the improved attitude of the England international, but still doesn't expect the player to stick with the club in the long-term.
Pulis said: "I don't think it's the money, I think it's the opportunity and the chance to show how good he is, playing in a top-four team, and you can't take that away from the boy."
ASTON VILLA
Former Aston Villa winger Brett Holman could finally be heading back home to Australia, some 14 years after leaving his homeland to play his football abroad.
The 31-year-old wants a move to the A-League, after spending the last three years in the United Arab Emirates playing for Al Nasr in Dubai since leaving Villa.
Holman spent the 2012-13 season at Villa Park before he was released, making 27 appearances. Goals came in a game at Queens Park Rangers and a League Cup tie at Norwich City.
WOLVES-WALSALL
Nothing doing on the transfer front at Molineux today, ditto with the Saddlers.
