The three-time world champion will be appearing at the Cleveland Arms sports pub, Stowheath Lane, on Monday February 22.

It's close to his old stomping ground of Wolves' Monmore Green, where he won three of his world titles between 1971 and 1975.

The Great Dane became a hugely-popular character in the Midlands, as one of the top riders for both Wolves and Coventry between 1970 and 1983.

Olsen has plenty of stories to tell and is excited to discuss some of his favourite career moments.

He added: "I'm really looking forward to my night in the UK. It's going to be a special night, that's for sure.

"I have some great memories from the Midlands from my time with Wolverhampton and Coventry and it will be nice to go back there and talk about those good times.

"They are two clubs which will forever hold a special place in my heart and there's a lot of people who I will be forever grateful to also.

"I'm sure there'll be plenty of old faces that I haven't seen for some time and I hope to see as many supporters as possible."

Only standard tickets are left available, priced at £10. There will be professional photo opportunities on the night, costing £15.

To buy, call into the Cleveland Arms or telephone 01902 451 021. For online bookings, go to www.sportstalkevents.co.uk.

There will also be a 32-page limited edition souvenir brochure commemorating Olsen's career, available for £5.
