Late strike breaks Glassboys' hearts
Stourbridge surrendered two precious points when second from bottom side Stamford snatched a sickening 95th minute equaliser.
The Glassboys failed to clear from a last-gasp corner allowing substitute Chris Hamilton to hammer home and steal a share of the points.
That was after Stourbridge appeared to have victory in the bag when they went 2-0 up just after the hour mark, but instead let that advantage slip.
Stourbridge took the lead on 27 minutes when right win Matt Dodd darted between two defenders and set up striker Karl Hawley to turn and fire home past Stamford goalkeeper Enol Ordonez.
Stamford came storming back but were kept at bay when Stourbridge goalkeeper Charlie Price pulled off two great saves within the space of 60 seconds to keep out Jake Duffy and then Eliott Hodge on the half hour mark.
But Price was beaten after 35 minutes when Stamford's Jake Newman flicked an Ellis Myles cross against the post only to see the ball rebound back into the grateful arms of Price.
Stamford's bad luck in front of goal continued on 51 minutes when Stourbridge full back Kristian Green was judged to have pushed Jordan Smith but Price pulled out all the stops to save Lee Beeson's resulting penalty attempt by guessing the right direction.
Stourbridge increased their lead on 61 minutes when Chris Lait picked out Hawley, whose shot was blocked but fell perfectly for Lait to follow up and slot home.
The advantage was short lived with Stamford clawing a goal back three minutes later when the luckless Green turned a right wing Newman cross into his own net.
But Stourbridge still looked likely to hold onto the points until the fateful 95th minute when they failed to clear from a corner and the ball found its way through to Hamilton, who was waiting at the back post to pounce and drill home past Price.
