Dave Hockaday has parted company with Kidderminster Harriers by mutual consent.

The former Leeds United boss was appointed as head coach at Aggborough on October 9, with the club rock-bottom of the National League and without a win since March.

He led Harriers to their first league win of the campaign against Woking before adding a further victory against Aldershot.

But he was unable to turn around the fortunes and oversaw 10 defeats from his 13 games in charge at the club.

Harriers remain bottom, 12 points from safety in the National League.

Gary Whild, Tim Flowers, current chief executive Colin Gordan and Hockaday have all been in charge at Aggborough this season.

It is believed that chairman Rod Brown and Gordan will be joining forces to address the club's next move.

On Hockaday's departure, Brown added: "We'd like to thank Dave for his hard work and contribution to the club during his time with us.

"We've talked at length and both agree that this is the right move forward."
