Heroes will be at full strength

Stourbridge boss Gary Hackett insists he will name a full-strength side for the FA Trophy clash with Carlton Town.

Hackett made 11 changes for the tie with Market Drayton Town in the Doodson Northern Premier League Cup on Tuesday, a match they drew 1-1 before losing on penalties.

However, he is determined to reach the next round of the FA Trophy and will not underestimate Carlton, who are 19th in Evo-Stik Division One South.

"I'm not a big believer in the league cup. I completely changed the side on Tuesday," said Hackett. "The FA Trophy is a massive competition, it is the FA Cup of non-league, and we will be going into the game full strength.

"Unlike the FA Cup, we go into the tie as favourites so it's a different mentality we have got to have.

"We will be very wary of the threat they carry because they will be looking to cause an upset.

Also in the FA Trophy, Rushall Olympic travel to Leamington, managed by former Pics boss Paul Holleran and top of the Evo-Stik Southern Premier.

Rushall also lost in the league cup, 1-0 to Stafford Rangers, and boss Richard Sneekes expects a tough test tomorrow.

"It will be a very tough game – Leamington have invested a lot of money and have some good players," he said. "They beat Barwell, who are in our league, 6-1 in the last round but we will go there with confidence."

Halesowen Town are in action in the Evo-Stik Premier and will look for revenge against Barwell at The Grove.

In the reverse fixture last month, Barwell won 6-0 and captain Jay Denny was sent off for Halesowen with just over 10 minutes gone.

Goalkeeper Matthew Sargeant has left Yeltz to sign for Alvechurch, leaving Daniel Platt as first choice.

Danny Watson, the club's goalkeeping coach, has been registered as a player to provide back-up.

New signings Keenah Rosser and Nathan Hands, who had been playing professionally in Sweden, may start after featuring in the 2-1 league cup win over Leek Town.

Yeltz will play Sutton Coldfield in the second round of the competition.
