Kenny Jackett: I am committed to Wolves

Wolves boss Kenny Jackett has committed his future to the club amid speculation linking him with the vacant QPR job.

Jackett, who oversaw an improved Wolves performance in a goalless draw with high-flying Burnley on Saturday, was surprisingly name-checked by assistant boss Joe Gallen's brother Kevin when the QPR legend was asked who he wanted to get the job.

Neil Warnock is current in temporary charge, but Jackett dismissed any suggestion that he was a candidate.

"I don't like talking about other clubs and other club's positions, it's not my job to do that," he said.

"In terms of myself, I'm happy here, I've no ambition to leave, I'm committed to Wolves.

"It's a great club. You do things at a club like this until someone tells you otherwise."

Jackett is not believed to have been approached by officials at Loftus Road.

The Wolves boss, meanwhile, welcomed his team's solidity after they made it two clean sheets from three matches by drawing with the Clarets.

He paid tribute to new signing Mike Williamson's influence on the team.

"In the three games we have conceded one goal which is a good return after we had been shipping goals in the spell before that," he said.

"That has coincided with the arrival of Mike Williamson who has brought a degree of physical presence in for us.

"We've looked solid at the back, two of those clean sheets have been excellent.

"He's made a big difference and helped us. Four points out of nine, we were obviously hoping for more, it's about finding some consistency and finding our feet and, with everything we've got, pushing up that table."

Wolves are waiting on the fitness of Rajiv van La Parra, who has had a reoccurrence of his recent knee injury, before deciding whether fellow winger Jordan Graham can return on loan to Oxford United.
