Easy like Sunday morning for Woodcross

AFC Woodcross are setting the early Wolverhampton Sunday League Premier Division pace after making it two wins out of two.

A rampant first-half display powered Woodcross to victory over Talisman as they plundered six unanswered goals.

Hat-trick hero Craig Edwards led the charge with Paul Blagrove, Ryan McDonagh and a deflected shot from Steven Weaver completing the scoring.

A spirited second-half showing from Talisman saw them pull a goal back through Jamie Tomlinson to make it 6-1.

Springvale Steelers also bagged a second successive success as goals from Sean Gregory and Ben Wilkins earned them a 2-0 win at Emerald.

Travellers Rest picked up a win on their travels courtesy of a 2-1 success at Connaught.

Scott Broadway and Daniel Westwood struck for Travellers before half-time with Seb Haldren replying after the break.

Codsall Legion FC and Otter & Vixen FC shared the points following an entertaining 3-3 draw.

Ryan Bradshaw (two) and Ashley Stewart scored for Codsall.

Goals from Fabian Facey, Don Smith, Nicky Dodds, Luke Parkin and Ian Boswell fired Bentley to a 5-2 success against Punjab in Division One.

Ben Round and Elliot Penberthy netted for Punjab.

Stefan Walker was the star turn for Wonder Vaults, bagging a hat-trick in his side's 4-1 win at Huf UK.

Amardeep Bhamra added the other Vaults goal with Alex Deakin grabbing a consolation for Huf.

Wombourne Athletic's Simon Edwards was also celebrating a treble after scoring all his side's goals in the victory at Lanesfield Old Boys.

Lew James was in sparkling form as TK Wanderers surged to the top of the Division Two standings.

James netted four times as Wanderers eased to an 8-1 victory at Corpus Christi.

Grapes are bunched alongside Wanderers with two wins from two games after a 6-2 triumph at Chestnut Tree.

Richard Finch and Ryan Piggott were the match-winners as they both bagged hat-tricks. Ashley Campbell and Oliver green replied for Chestnut.

Wolverhampton Sports GNG and Bradmore Social battled out a 2-2 draw.

Ashley Davidson and Arun Sanghera scored GNG, who led twice, with a Ryan Davies brace earning Social a point.

Chillington, Wolfies Bar and Spartak all have a maximum six points in Division Three.

Chillington head the table on goal difference after coming from behind to beat FC United Kingdom 6-3.

Strikes from Tom Priest, Daniel Green and Ben Johnson put Kingdom 3-1 up at the break, Chillington's reply coming via an own goal.

But Chillington hit back in the second half to run out winners thanks to goals from Callum griffiths (two), Jasvinder Akali, Jonathon Hawley and Alex Bendall.

Lee Turner struck twice for second-placed Wolfies in their 2-1 win at Spills Meadow. Dave Jones replied. Spartak edged home by the odd goal in seven against Brewood Old Boys.

Darren Morris (two) Michael Freeman and Jon Hickman were the Spartak marksmen. William Sneddon found the net twice and Gary Joe Smith once for Brewood.

Dynamo 50 hit the comeback trail to grab a point at AFC Merry Boys.

Mo Ali and Amahl McClean scored for Merry Boys, who also missed a penalty, while Tom Bucknall and Mark Cund replied for Dynamo after they had trailed 2-0.

Jacks Bar were another side that battled back from a two-goal deficit against Elizabeth Arms.

Elizabeth Arms went two up in the first half with goals from Craig Tranter and Shaun Davies, while Jacks missed a penalty.

Chris Perry managed to pull one back when the ball found the net after hitting him in the face with Dave Cullen completing the comeback when he headed home.

In Division Four, Balls to Cancer made it two wins from two without conceding a goal as they won 2-0 at Aldersley Athletic.

Dan Gabidon and Ashley Brown were the goalscorers.

UTC FC also boast a perfect record after beating Wrottersley 4-2. Mitchell Wilson (two) Callum Corbett and Ryan Boon scored for UTC.

Jahed Hossain blasted home a hat-trick in Palfrey's 4-2 triumph at Churchill Rovers. Anpor Ali joined him on the score-sheet.

It was definitely a game of two halves as Malthouse ran out winners against Royal George. Strikes from Jason Cook (two) and Jack Potts saw the visitors lead 3-1 at half-time.

But Malthouse roared back in the second period to win 7-3. Hat-trick man Kieron Hesson led the recovery with Jack Haynes netting twice, including a 30-yard volley.

A stunning long-range free-kick from Jack Crutchley and Ryan Preston effort sealed the win.

Free-scoring Wombourne Athletic lead the way in Division Five after taking their goal tally to 19 in two games following an 8-2 win against Fiery Holes.

Jamie Turner claimed a treble and Luke Cook a single as Belgrade beat True Briton 4-0. Essington and Warstones Wanderers couldn't be separated as they shared eight goals.

Essington's scorers were Jake Trickett, Jake Morgan, David Jones and Lee Jeys. Connor Forrester (two) Pinder Deo and Richard Homeray scored for Wanderers.

A second-half penalty from Wolverhampton United's Chris Jones cancelled out a strike from Gem Collier to earn his side a point at Windsor Athletic.

In Division Six, Compton Harriers hit six of the best without reply against Jacks Allsorts. Ryan Brewster, Liam Elwell, Dale Gandy, Dan Davies netted as AFC Royal beat Steemans Lounge 4-0.

Ben Slater (two) Donny Shinn and Tommy Nash found the net in Barley Mow Wanderers' 4-1 win at Dartmouth Arms. Phoenix TSG hit the goal trail to record an 8-0 win over ECC Sports Club.

Dan Coles, Jay Cattell and Wayne Blake all scored twice with James Edwards and Rich Booth also on target.

Blackhorse Darlaston edged out Brewood 2-1 thanks to strikes from Sam Giles and Sonny Dawson.

Dan Crosdale, Bobby Khakh and Simeon Miles sealed a 3-0 away-day triumph for Newbridge at AFC Milestone.

Wojtek Kryspin and Robert Zaleski climed off the substitutes' bench to find the net and bag Saint Michael a 2-1 win away to Woodfield Wanderers.
