Wolves were steered to 234-5 in the Birmingham & District League Premier Division by an unbeaten 108 from 172 balls by Jack Stanley.

Adam Lawley hit a quick-fire 52 to see Wolverhampton to a competitive total, but an opening stand of 120 between skipper Kadeer Ali (101 not out) and Rawlston Tappin (69) eased Dartmouth home.

In a relatively low-scoring game at Ombersley, visitors Kidderminster Victoria were all out for 215, to which the home side replied with 186-7.

Nathan Round (85) held the Kidderminster innings together early on, while Matt Pardoe was the best of the visiting attack with 3-36.

Relegation-threatened Brewood were unable to mark their 150th anniversary week with a victory as they were crushed by Division Two leaders Bridgnorth, slumping to 50 all out in reply to 261-8.

Penkridge fell further behind the top two after a 180-run defeat to Halesowen, who battered 295 all out.

It was thanks to 94 from Wes Griffiths, 65 from Tarryck Gabriel and 43 from Ed Kilbee. Aamir Manzoor (4-80) was the most successful Penkridge bowler.

In reply, a shell-shocked Penkridge crashed to 115 all out with Gabriel (3-19), Will Barrett (3-27) and Eddie Rhodes (3-29) the main wicket-takers for the visitors.

Matt Bradley (104) and Audy Alexander (73no) added 119 for the fourth wicket as Stourbridge cruised to 250-6 at Old Elizabethans, who responded with 213-7 – Mikesh Jivan-Patel took 4-61.

Kuldeep Diwan (151 from 109 balls), David Hemming (90) and Dan Vernon (73) blasted Wombourne to 361-5 against Eastnor, who crashed to 157 all out in reply.

Hemming (5-61) and Waqas Ahmed (3-23) were in fine fettle.

Wellington's Wendell Wagner grins ruefully as Walsall's David Powles runs him out.

Meanwhile, Walsall took advantage of Moseley's defeat to Old Hill to move to the top of Division One.

The Gorway outfit are 11 points clear at the summit after a seven-wicket win over Wellington.

Chasing 154-9, Tim Maxfield (41) and Alex McChristie (42no) guided Walsall home with more than 14 overs in hand.

Moseley – who dropped to fourth, 15 points behind Walsall – were skittled for 138 by Old Hill, thanks in part to Nigel Davenport (5-25).

Monil Patel crashed six fours and six sixes in a 67-ball innings of 66, while skipper Danny Cox hit 34 as Old Hill remained 10 points behind Walsall.

Fifth-placed Smethwick were involved in a high-scoring affair at near-neighbours Harborne, who just hung on for a winning draw.

Smethwick finished on 318-9 in reply to the home side's total of 322-6 - Amitoze Singh hit 81, Vikram Sodhi 43 and Yasir Shah 42.

Himley continue to move in the right direction even though they were unable to clinch a much-needed victory over Bromsgrove.

Greg Wright (134), Wasim Jaffer (101no) and Will Fraine (51) boosted Himley to 306-3 before Bromsgrove held out on 267-8 after Arfan Khan took a hat-trick.

The meeting of the top two clubs in the Division Three table was a one-sided affair as leaders Cannock & Rugeley Hawks crushed Fordhouses by seven wickets.

Niall Cooper hit 46 for Fordhouses, while Omar Ali (3-17 and 75 not out) starred for Hawks.

Pelsall (73) were brushed aside by Stratford-upon-Avon (201) despite the best efforts of Tom Boyd (3-37), while Worfield lost by 49 runs against Worcester.
