We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves are one of four Championship clubs looking to take young Watford defender Tommie Hoban, now the Hornets are in the Premier League.

The 21-year-old, who made 30 appearances for the club last season, is likely to fall down the pecking order at Vicarage Road after promotion.

Watford are apparently willing to loan out the young Irishman, who can play as a central defender or at right-back, for the new campaign.

Wolves would face opposition from transfer embargoed Nottingham Forest, Charlton Athletic and Rotherham United for his signature.

WEST BROM

West Brom will have to stump up a £7million transfer fee if they want to bring in Steven N'Zonzi to the Hawthorns from Stoke City.

The Potters have privately admitted defeat in their battle to keep hold of the 26-year-old and have already identified a replacement.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is reportedly close to joining Stoke from Italian outfit Udinese and is very much in the N'Zonzi mould.

That would indicate that the Stoke midfielder is on his way out of the Britannia Stadium and there will be no shortage of takers.

Albion, Aston Villa, West Ham and Leicester City all want to keep the 26-year-old in the Premier League, but Spanish club Sevilla are also keen.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa have been quoted £2.5million by Dutch giants Ajax for their captain Nicolai Boilesen, as the search continues for a new left-back.

Villa are desperate to get the position filled this summer, with manager Tim Sherwood not keen on current options Aly Cissokho and Joe Bennett.

Boilesen is emerging as a target and may want out of the club, having lost his shirt number and possibly his place to new arrival Johnny Heitinga.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
