Transfer Rumours - June 9
Expressandstar.com bring you all of the latest transfer talk from Wolves, West Brom, Aston Villa and Walsall.
We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Wolves could finally offload striker Bjorn Siguardson to Championship rivals Charlton Athletic, who are showing interest in the player.
The Iceland international cost the club around £2.4million in 2012, but has been shipped out on loan overseas twice in the last two seasons.
The 24-year-old is not in boss Kenny Jackett's plans and could now be heading to the Valley, despite the year left on his contract at Molineux.
WEST BROM
Sources at West Brom are refuting claims that they are close to completing a £3.5million deal to sign Christian Benavente from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
His club are happy to sell as long as there's a buy-back clause for the talented 21-year-old, who is keen to force his way back into the Peru squad after missing the Copa America.
He's been turning out for Zinedine Zidane's Madrid 'B' team and would consider the Premier League a step up, with Albion denying they are leading the case.
ASTON VILLA
Aston Villa will have to pay £10million to snare new England striker Charlie Austin from Queens Park Rangers, who have dropped into the Championship.
Austin wants to leave Loftus Road and continue playing in the Premier League with Villa, Southampton and Newcastle United all keen on the 25-year-old.
WALSALL
All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
