We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves and Championship rivals Derby County are both looking to give Southampton striker Sam Gallagher his next taste of first-team football.

The 19-year-old is highly-rated by the Premier League club and is tied to St Mary's until the summer of 2018, but hasn't played in this campaign.

The English teenager is keen to get more game time under his belt, having made 18 appearances last season, and is open to being farmed out.

Wolves and Derby are ready to offer that chance, with Kenny Jackett's side already boasting a young success from the top-flight in Benik Afobe.

WEST BROM

West Brom target Gregoire Defrel is ready to move on from Italian side Cesena in the summer, his agent has indicated to the media.

The 23-year-old French winger wants to end his three-year spell with the promoted side, but he's also co-owned by Serie A cohorts Parma.

The Baggies have reportedly held talks with the wide man about a move to the Premier League and could revive their interest in the summer.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa are keeping tabs on Romanian forward Florin Andone, with his Spanish outfit Cordoba likely to drop out of the Primera Liga.

The 22-year-old has scored five times in 15 league appearances for the struggling Caliphs after being given a run in the team, which has caught Villa's eye.

He has a release clause of £5million in his contract but is likely to sold for nearer to half that amount, with a number of European clubs interested.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
