We have scoured the back pages and the internet to bring you the latest transfer gossip.

We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Wolves could face competition from other clubs in the Championship if they do opt to go for Manchester United striker James Wilson.

The Red Devils are considering loaning out the talented 19-year-old and there will be no shortage of takers if that comes to pass.

But promotion-chasers Middlesbrough and Derby County are also keen on the teenager, who has made 13 appearances scoring three goals.

WEST BROM

They enquired about Wolves winger Bakary Sako last month and expect West Brom to be back for the Mali international at the end of the season.

Albion boss Tony Pulis is still interested in the 26-year-old and could get him for nothing in the summer, when his contract at Molineux expires.

ASTON VILLA

New manager Tim Sherwood could find himself answering to a director of football next season, with Aston Villa apparently looking at candidates.

Damien Comolli, who worked with Sherwood at Tottenham Hotspur, is the favourite should the position be created, having also worked at Liverpool.

But former United States national boss Bob Bradley, who has been linked to the manager's job in the past, may be American owner Randy Lerner's choice.

WALSALL

All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
