We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.

WOLVES

Tonight's FA Cup third round replay rivals Wolves and Fulham are apparently also willing to do battle for Crystal Palace defender Zeki Fryers.

The 22-year-old is out-of-favour at Selhurst Park and could be made available on loan, although Fulham may try to sign him permanently.

Fryers has a great pedigree having made appearances for Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Belgian club Standard Liege and Palace.

WEST BROM

West Brom and Crystal Palace are both keeping tabs on striker Rickie Lambert's situation at Liverpool, who have agreed a deal in principle to bring Divock Origi to Anfield early.

Lambert has struggled since his £4million move from Southampton in the summer, scoring just two goals for the Reds so far this season.

And Liverpool are understood to have agreed to pay French club Lille another £3million for Origi – who they signed for £10million in the summer – in order to cut his loan spell short this month.

That could open the exit door for Lambert to leave for either the Hawthorns or Palace, where their boss Alan Pardew managed the player at Southampton.

ASTON VILLA

Aston Villa loanee Tom Cleverley will apparently snub a permanent move this month and resurrect a switch to Premier League rivals Everton, reports strongly suggest.

Cleverley has been told he has no future at Manchester United and saw a move to Everton break down before he arrived at Villa Park on loan in August.

But Blues boss Roberto Martinez, who managed Cleverley during another temporary spell at Wigan Athletic, remains an admirer of the 25-year-old and is ready to make a £7million bid.

WALSALL

Some loose talk north of the border suggests that Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, along with Chesterfield hotshot Eoin Doyle, is being tracked by Scottish giants Celtic.

The Bhoys are scouring League One for talent but have been put off Doyle, who has 23 goals already this season, by a £1.5million price tag.
