Wolves Under-21s were denied by a late Blackburn equaliser in a 2-2 draw at AFC Telford United last night.
Ibrahim Keita's double inside 60 seconds on 12 and 13 minutes overturned Devarn Green's third-minute strike, but Jordan Preston clinched a point late on.
Green scored after running at the defence before firing a 20-yard drive past goalkeeper Jonathan Flatt.
It could have been 2-0 after six minutes when Connor Mahoney produced an angled effort after a mazy run but Flatt denied him with a cracking save.
Wolves levelled when Keita netted from the penalty spot after Bradley Reid was brought down after cutting in from the right wing.
And they were ahead within 60 seconds as a flowing counter-attack which eventually found Keita, who finished well across goalkeeper Ryan Crump.
Wolves were in control and went close to making it 3-1, when Connor Ronan's fine low drive was tipped around the post by Crump.
But they conceded an equaliser when the ball broke for Preston in the area and he produced a cool finish four minutes from time.
