We are not saying they are true – just that they are out there.
WOLVES
Former Wolves trialist Max Clayton looks to be on the move after Crewe agreed a compensation package with another unnamed English club, believed to be Bolton Wanderers.
Wolves boss Kenny Jackett today hinted the club are waiting on Premier League loan signings, after missing out on Leicester City striker Chris Wood.
Jackett said: "People are out of favour and all clubs are following certain situations very closely."
WEST BROM
Nicolas Anelka's plans to join Mumbai City in the new Indian Super League could be delayed by a five-match ban.
He was suspended and sacked by West Brom for a racially-aggravated goal celebration that led to his departure from the Hawthorns.
ASTON VILLA
Young winger Jack Grealish is desperate to stay at Aston Villa and hopes to finalise a new contract, despite being linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United.
WALSALL
All quiet at the Banks's Stadium today.
