Reports from Lancashire claim Premier League new-boys Burnley could hijack Brighton's bid to sign Wolves' left-back Stephen Ward.
WEST BROM
Any chance of West Ham winger Matt Jarvis moving to West Brom has been ruled out by Hammers manager Sam Allardyce.
"Matt Jarvis will not be leaving us," Allardyce said at his press conference this week.
West Brom boss Alan Irvine is known to be in the market for a winger, with Chelsea's Victor Moses among the other names to be linked with the club this summer.
ASTON VILLA
Some rumours suggest Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke has urged manager Paul Lambert to move for Tottenham winger Nacer Chadli, an international team-mate with Belgium.
