Major League Soccer side Portland Timbers are set to offer Joleon Lescott a bumper contract in a bid to deter interest from Premier League clubs. Aston Villa have been rumoured to be interested in the defender as his Man City contract expires this summer.
QPR are set to rival Villa for the signature of Norwich striker Gary Hooper. Canaries forward Hooper scored eight goals in 34 games during the 2013/14 season but couldn't prevent Norwich's relegation to the Championship.

Serie A side Fiorentina are set to hijack West Brom's £4m pursuit of experienced striker Fabio Quagliarella.
Wolves
Leon Clarke continues to be linked with a move away from Molineux.
Tommy Rowe is expected to completed his move to Wolves this week. The free agent was released by Peterborough last season.
