Video: Quick-thinking Dnipro player saves Dynamo Kiev captain from swallowing his tongue
Sportsmanship was taken to a new level in this Ukranian Premier League match as a quick-thinking Dnipro player saved an opponent from swallowing his tongue.
Dynamo Kiev's Oleg Gusev, 30, was knocked unconscious after competing for a cross with Dnipro goalkeeper, Denys Boyko.
Gusev clashed with the goalkeeper knee and wiped out Kiev's skipper.

Dnipro midfielder Jaba Kankava reacted quickest and ran over to the opposing player. He forced his hand down Gusev's throat to clear his airway in what was a potentially life-saving action.
As Gusev regained consciousness, medical staff stretchered him off the pitch to receive further treatment.
Kankava was applauded by Dynamo players and staff for his bravery and life-saving intervention.
Dynamo Kiev have yet to issue an update on Gusev's conditions but, according to reports, he was seen pitchside later in the game.
