French side St. Etienne have joined Albion in the race to sign Ghana striker Jordan Ayew on loan from Marseille. The 21-year-old is one of several forwards on the Baggies shortlist.
Albion striker Peter Odemwingie is said to have his heart set on a move to Swansea, as Michael Laudrup's side joined Stoke and Cardiff in the race for the Nigerian.
WOLVES
Boss Kenny Jackett is lining up a move for Barnsley defender Scott Golbourne, who can play anywhere down the left side.

Serie A club Roma have made an enquiry for Villa striker Christian Benteke, but have been told the Belgian is not for sale. The 22-year-old committed his future to the club with a new contract this summer.
Aston Villa full-back Matthew Lowton has said that he is not interested in a move away from Villa Park after being linked with other clubs this summer.
