Transfer rumours - June 26

Here are the latest football transfer rumours doing the rounds. We're not saying they're real just that they're out there.

El Ahmadi set for Aston Villa:

Website 7500 to Holte says Dutch TV station RTV Rjinmond is reporting online that Feyenoord and Morocco midfielder Karim El Ahmadi is on his way to Aston Villa for €2.8 million pending physical.

Still at Villa, web-fans.com says former Saddler Kevin MacDonald is to leave Aston Villa, after the arrival of Paul Lambert. The 51-year-old has spent 17 years at Villa Park, where he enjoyed great success managing the reserve team. He took caretaker control at the start of the 2010/11 before the recruitment of Gerard Houllier.

West Brom looking at Rose:

West Brom are being linked with a swoop for Tottenham left-back Danny Rose, according to clubcall.com

Rose, 21, is available on a season-long loan deal but a decision will only be made when a new manager is appointed at White Hart Lane.

The papers and blogs are pretty quiet over Walsall and Wolves this morning, pending any moves on Matt Jarvis.
