Milford Hall new-boy Todd Henderson smashed his first century for the club against Cannock and Rugeley – but Rhys Morgan's hundred denied Milford maximum points.

Henderson's unbeaten 117 from just 89 balls helped Milford to 328-6 and a winning draw that kept them squarely in Division One's leading group of teams.

But Morgan's 131 not out ensured Cannock and Rugeley held firm on 216-8 to claim a losing draw.

Milford captain Guy Bulpitt said: "I was fairly pleased with the result and I think we played well.

"The innings from their batsman was one of the best that's been played against us.

"Todd batted extremely well and that knock should give him plenty of confidence for the future.

"We're pleased with how it's going overall. We had one bad weekend but otherwise we have played some good cricket so far."

Jeff Goninan (53), Will Davis (39), Paul Hollinshead (37) and Mark Thompson (32) all made useful runs for Milford with Ryan Ponder claiming 4-78.

Old Wulfs Tettenhall are facing the possible loss of wicketkeeper Mathusuthan Rabindranath for the rest of the season after his half-century helped them to victory against Hammerwich.

Robin Sheffield's 106 and Rabindranath's 51 saw Old Wulfs to a five-wicket win after Chris Fullwood's 5-34 had laid the foundations.

But Rabindranath will return to his native Sri Lanka this week and might not return for the rest of the summer.

Openers Jordan Shaw (105) and Andy Bews (67) helped Hammerwich to 241-7 but Old Wulfs replied with 242-5 with Jamie Acaster (31) helping lay the platform for Sheffield and Rabindranath.

Aldridge retained top-spot as five wickets from Josh Prior and a Jake Lee's unbeaten 113 helped them beat local rivals Bloxwich by six wickets with more than 15 overs to spare.
