Stafford Rangers manager Greg Clowes today revealed he expects this close season to be his "busiest time of the year."
Saturday's final game of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League campaign at Frickley will bring the curtain down on 2011-12.
But, for Clowes, the hard-work is just beginning as he puts his plans he hopes will revolutionise the club next season.
The players won't be back until early June and, first of all, the Rangers boss must decide which will be retained.
Then comes the search for new signings before other clubs join the race for their targets, before pre-season plans begin.
And, with his side expected to finish in the lower reaches of the table, Clowes admits there's much to get started on.
He said: "Between now and pre-season, there is going to be a hell of a lot of work to be done at this football club.
"There's lots and lots of things that a manager has to do and this has got to be my busiest time of the year now.
"My phone is going to be red hot now for a couple of months."
Alongside the players he brought with him from Newcastle Town last summer, this was Clowes' first season at the level.
He said: "I have learned a lot this season and, when you go into a league where you haven't managed before, you have got to keep your eyes open.
"I have got to up my performance as a manager and I have got to make sure that our squad for next season up their ante, as well.
"I am 100 per cent certain that we can do that."
