Stafford Rangers goalkeeper Adam Alcock will keep his place for the visit of Northwich Victoria to Marston Road.

Alcock made his second league start in Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Mickleover Sports and will be preferred to Danny Read.

Read missed the trip through family commitments and will be on the bench tonight, but defender Ryan Dicker is still out with an ankle injury.

Northwich are under new management for the third time in less than a month, with ex-Rangers duo Sean Kinsella and Chris Budrys in their ranks.

After Andy Preece and Paul Simpson, former Aston Villa defender Alan Wright and Martin Foyle have taken charge and tonight is their first game.

Rangers won at Northwich, then the league leaders, in September but boss Greg Clowes believes the Vics are even stronger now.

Clowes has overseen three straight defeats since he won the Manager of the Month award for January and wants to see his side "dig deep."

He said: "They have got to pick themselves up and you find out the mental strength of the players when you are having a run like this.

"We will learn who is going to dig deep for us now and we will find that out over the next couple of weeks, especially in the next three games.

"I actually think Northwich have a stronger squad than when we played them earlier in the season,

"When a new manager comes in, players will want to impress and, for what turmoil they have had, they have done brilliant.

"We have got to back to how we were playing in January and the players can do it, but we need to start picking points up quickly."
