Rangers boss is Manager of the Month

Stafford Rangers boss Greg Clowes was today named the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Manager of the Month for January.

Clowes has recieved the accolade on the back of three wins, a draw and just one defeat last month, at home to Hednesford.

Four of out of those five games came against teams in the top seven, with back-to-back wins over FC United of Manchester and Marine.

Both haven't lost since while Rangers went on to thrash Stocksbridge Park Steels 5-1, the biggest home win at Marston Road in nine years.

Stocksbridge then demolished North Ferriby 7-0, while Clowes' men took a point at fourth-placed Chorley in their last game of the month.
