Hednesford come in for Sean Kinsella

Stafford Rangers midfielder Sean Kinsella was today still at the club - despite Hednesford joining Northwich in the race for his services.

Northwich already have permission to talk to the player and so will Hednesford next week, after putting in a seven-day approach yesterday.

Rangers' local rivals want to keep the Stone-based playmaker in the West Midlands but will have to wait to make their move.

Back at Marston Road, the 20-year-old has been made two contract offers, an initial and then improved deal, until the end of the season.

Kinsella was not involved in Saturday's 3-2 win at Burscough but Alex Headley was an unused substitute after signing from Nantwich.
