Stafford Rangers will travel to Chester to league rivals Chester in the FA Trophy second qualifying round if they can beat Newcastle Town in a replay at Marston Road.

Rangers drew 1-1 at boss Greg Clowes' former club on Saturday and must do it all again tonight, after a display the manager described as the "worst performance of the season."

But Clowes' shortage of midfielders will be eased by the return of Glynn Blackhurst from suspension and Dan Skelton after illness, which has allowed him to release Alex Forde.

Forde is set to join league rivals Rushall Olympic after turning down the chance to join the Rangers squad on Saturday, which could have left him cup-tied.

Blackhurst is expected to get the nod to face the club that Clowes twice tried to sign him for, before the Rangers boss finally got his man after moving to Marston Road in the summer.
