A limited number of tickets are still available for the darts exhibition with Bobby George and Wayne Mardle in Penkridge on Friday night.

George and Mardle, who have both carved out a career as television pundits after reaching major finals as players, are at the Hatherton Country House Hotel on Pinfold Lane.

'The Bobby Dazzler' is one of the sport's favourite personalities and is a mainstay of the BBC's coverage of the BDO, while the charismatic 'Hawaii 5-0-1? commentates for the PDC events on Sky Sports.

Now 65, George twice reached the BDO world championship final in 1980 and 1994, with Mardle coming runner-up in the 2003 World Matchplay.

And darts fans will get the chance to take on the stars, who will play a leg against seven punters each, drawn at random by their ticket numbers.

George and Mardle will then go head-to-head in a best of three contest, after a raffle and an auction for darts memorabilia.

All profits from the night will go to the Midlands Air Ambulance with tickets, costing £10 each and only available in advance, from event organiser Vicki Cutler on 07974 578 103.
