Kidderminster Harriers winger David Hankin is expecting to get a date for his return after undergoing a scan on his injured ankle.

Hankin has missed the last three games after picking up the injury in training the day before the trip to Mansfield, where he was set to start.

But the 26-year-old is walking after coming off crutches yesterday and is able to use the exercise bike and swimming pool in the gym.

However, Hankin still expects to be out for at least a fortnight and is stuck in limbo until the results of a scan tomorrow.

He said: "It was just the way I landed in training, I heard a click and it could be tendon damage, especially with the noise it made, but I went for an X-Ray that night and they said nothing was broken.

"I have got a scan tomorrow and will see what they say. I should have a comeback date after that, it could be three weeks or even longer.

"I am hoping it will be sooner rather than later, maybe two weeks if everything went well."

Kidderminster Harriers' Independent Supporters Trust - KHIST- will be reuniting the first-ever team to play for the club in the Football League on Wednesday November 9.

All 12 players involved at home to Torquay on 12 August 2000 will watch a re-run of the 2-0 win and then answer questions from supporters in the Academy Suite.

The youth team also went through to the third and final qualifying round last night, after a 3-2 extra-time win over Stone Dominoes at Aggborough.
