Boxing pundit and former world champion Johnny Nelson is heading to Birmingham to take part in a sportsman's lunch next week.
Nelson, who won and defended the WBO cruiserweight title 13 times before retiring as champion in 2005, will be at the Novotel Hotel, Broad Street, on October 7.
The 44-year-old from Sheffield will spend his Friday afternoon recalling stories from nearly 20 years in the ring, which also saw him win a European title and a Lonsdale belt outright.
After hanging up his gloves, Nelson went on to forge a successful career in front of the camera, as a regular on 'Saturday Fight Night' and the 'Ringside' show on Sky Sports.
'The Entertainer' will be supported by TV comedian Andy Rudge at the Novotel, in the heart of Birmingham city centre.
Tickets are £40 per person for a table seat, which includes a three-course meal, and are available from Grays Promotions on 01543 502 049.
