Kidderminster Harriers midfielder James Vincent is pushing for a recall at Fleetwood after his supersub show on the club's 125th anniversary.

Vincent climbed off the bench to score the third goal in the 3-1 win over Alfreton at Aggborough on Saturday and could start at the revamped Highbury Stadium tonight.

Manager Steve Burr is considering changes despite Saturday's success, which kicked off a run of four games in 10 days, to keep the players fresh with a full-strength squad to choose from.

And Vincent could benefit with a return to the starting line-up. Scott Phelan has been preferred for the last two games, but has made way for Vincent on both occasions.

Harriers will also come across their captain from last season tonight, Keith Briggs, who switched sides to sign for the Cod Army in the summer.

But Briggs is only likely to be on the bench, with former Everton and Blackpool midfielder Jamie Milligan currently ahead of him in the team.

Boss Burr is expecting a tough test in Lancashire, against a Fleetwood side who were Harriers' rivals as both chased a play-off place last season.

He said: "They play some good stuff and we know they're a good side. They've a very strong squad and have invested again during the summer.

"I remember it being a cracking game up there last season and, with the ground building now complete and the fantastic surface they have up there, we are looking forward to it."
