'Tank' makes the jump up in sessions next Friday night after just two professional fights, the second of which came on the undercard of David Haye's multi world title tussle against Wladimir Klitschko in Germany.
Next comes Dean Walker, a hugely experienced opponent from Sheffield competing in his 49th professional fight, with 12 wins on his record.
And Aston is looking to get the job done early and get the first stoppage on his record, having widely unpointed Iain Jackson and Bulgarian veteran Zahari Mutafchiev since turning pro in June.
The 20-year-old middleweight, signed to Hayemaker Promotions, took those wins within seven days of each other, so does not expect the extended rounds to trouble him next Friday night.
He said: "I want to be busy every month, I much prefer six-round fights and a stoppage has got to be on the cards somewhere down the line.
"My game is to break people down and knock them out, I want to outwit and outbox and take my opponents apart."
Aston believes he should already have a stoppage on his record, having pounded Mutafchiev for four rounds on the Haye bill.
His work was more restricted against Jackson in Sheffield the previous Saturday, for fear of picking up a war wound that would have ruled him out of the biggest boxing show of the decade.
The Priory Park ABC amateur said: "The first one was OK but I didn't want to get any cuts before my second fight. And, in the second fight, they really should have stopped it.
"I absolutely hammered him, the guy was so durable but he wasn't throwing a thing back.
"I was just looking at the referee and saying 'how much more do I have to give him before you say stop.'
"He just wouldn't give me what I wanted."
