Kidderminster Harriers manager Steve Burr has urged his side to make it a party on and off the park at Aggborough with a win on the club's 125th anniversary.

The big day arrives with the visit of Alfreton in the Blue Square Premier, 125 years on from when Harriers played their first-ever game, a 2-1 defeat at Wilden in 1886.

The team will wear a specially-designed replica kit from their formation year tomorrow, after recieving special permission from the league governing body to wear the strip for one game only.

A host of activites have been planned at Aggborough and the players are likely to come out to a party atmosphere come kick-off.

And boss Burr has told his players to make it a day to remember all-round by taking three points from the game.

He said: "We obviously want a party atmosphere, because it's going to be a fantastic day for everybody.

"Hopefully we will be able to attract one or two more, because of the day, but the crowds and we haven't really played any of the big clubs at home.

"There's going to be a lot of celebrating off the park tomorrow, let's hope there will be plenty of celebrating on the park come 5pm.

"The supporters will being a lot of fun in the stands and, hopefully, we can provide them with three points."

Harriers will give a late fitness test to Marc Williams, who has an ankle injury, but fellow striker Luke Medley should return after a hip problem.

Midfielder Scott Phelan and defender Tom Marshall are also set to shake off ankle and finger knocks, respectively, to play.
