Kidderminster Harriers boss Steve Burr has admitted he would settle for grinding out a win against Stockport if the club were to open their home account for the season.

Harriers have enjoyed back-to-back away victories at Lincoln and Cambridge but lost at Aggborough on the opening day of the campaign, a 3-2 defeat to Gateshead.

A thrilling game saw four goals in the first 25 minutes with Burr's men coming from 2-0 down to level, before they beaten by a goal with 10 minutes to go.

But the manager is willing to sacrifice "the entertainment factor" for three points tonight, as the team host their second home fixture of the season.

However, Stockport have made a reasonable start since coming down to the Blue Square Premier from the Football League and are still unbeaten after three games.

Managed by former Liverpool and Germany midfielder Dietmar Hamann, County can welcome back midfielder Sean McConville from suspension tonight, while striker John Miles and midfielder Ryan McCann could also make comebacks.

And boss Burr has told his team to take the game to their opponents.

He said: "The entertainment factor was there against Gateshead, but we all understand how important it is to keep a good run together.

"We need give something to those fans who aren't able to travel away, due to the large expense or any other reason, something to shout about."

Harriers defender Michael Briscoe is available for selection again after a back injury, but Jack Cresswell is still out with a hamstring problem.

Fellow midfielder Jack Byrne sits out the last game of a five-match ban.
