Sheffield United manager Danny Wilson today taunted Walsall and warned them - 'expect to lose.'

The Saddlers go to Bramall Lane tonight knowing a win would lift them above the Blades, but Wilson has already written the visitors off.

United have won both of their opening League One games 2-0, against Oldham and Brentford, after relegation from the Championship last season.

And Wilson, who replaced Micky Adams in the summer, insisted there is no excuse not to continue their hot streak against the Saddlers.

He said: "I did expect to win on Saturday and I expect us to win tonight.

"I am not being conceited and taking anything away from Walsall, but we have to make sure that we have got a certain mindset in this division at home.

"We have to make sure that we are really strong at home, we earn a reputation because of that and I expect us to win.

"Every team has to have a successful home record, no matter what league you are in, so it is important you win the majority of your home games if you are going to be in with a chance of promotion."

Walsall boss Dean Smith added: "Sheffield United are a big club, but they are a League One football team who are no different to us.

"These clubs are certainly not ones which should scare our players."
