Kidderminster Harriers will welcome back Callum Gittings and goalkeeper Dean Lyness as a full-strength squad heads to Hinckley for a pre-season friendly.

Gittings sat out last Friday's 4-2 win over a young Wolves side at Aggborough with an Achilles injury, while Lyness has missed the last three games with a groin strain.

The goalkeeper may not play, in any case, as Player of the Year Danny Lewis has cemented his place back between the sticks in his absence.

Management have also been wary of rushing the 19-year-old back into action, as another set-back would leave them short of cover going into next week's Blue Square Premier season opener at home to Gateshead.

Harriers have taken two home wins against higher division opposition in their last two games after first overcoming Shrewsbury, despite the League Two promotion-chasers fielding a stong line-up.

Tonight's trip to the Greene King Stadium promises to be another competitive fixture against Dean Thomas' Blue Square North outfit, who have former Harriers loanee Lloyd Kerry and ex-Aggborough youth team player Joe Hull in their ranks.

Assistant boss Gary Whild will be in the away dugout tonight with manager Steve Burr away on a scouting mission, although the Harriers chief is expected back for Saturday's final friendly at Rugby Town.
