Kidderminster Harriers captain Keith Briggs will today sign for Blue Square North rivals Fleetwood - hot on the heels of defender Mark Albrighton joining Nuneaton.
Briggs will put pen to paper on a two-year contract at the Highbury Stadium, after Harriers agreed to sell their skipper for an undisclosed fee.
The 29-year-old had a year left on his deal at Aggborough but will have the security of an extra 12 months by making the move.
The midfielder also wanted to play for a club nearer to his home in Glossop and leaves ambicably after talks with Harriers manager Steve Burr.
Albrighton has also left the club after signing for Blue Square North outfit Nuneaton last night.
The 35-year-old was not offered a new contract at Harriers and has chosen to sign for his hometown club, which will see him make the switch to playing part-time football.
The centre-half wants to spend more time home at wife Rachel, who is expecting their first child in four weeks time.
And Albrighton also believes switching to semi-pro could prolong his career.
He said: "I have had a few good offers but there was a lot of travelling involved, I have done all that, I want to stay local and cut out the time on the road.
"I am 35 and have been travelling up and down the motorway for a number of years, but it's just too much for me for now.
"I am not getting any younger but I still feel fit and playing part-time could prolong my career."
