Stafford Rangers will be forced to wait to know what division they are playing in next season after the Evo-Stik League delayed a decision on their club membership.

The club have been told that it could be May 31 before the final make-up of the Evo-Stik Premier League - where Rangers expect to be re-located after relegation from the Blue Square North - is complete.

And that also means a wait for their local rivals Hednesford, who could be moving over from the Zamaretto League to the Evo-Stik as part of a regional shuffle.

Redditch, who came down with Rangers from the Blue Square North, want to join the Zamaretto, meaning one club will have to move over to ensure the right quota in both divisions.

Should Hednesford switch leagues, they would join Rangers as two of four West Midlands teams in the third-tier of non-league football next season.

Chasetown spent last season in the division and Rushall Olympic are the league's new-boys, after promotion through the Evo-Stik League Division One South play-offs.
