Kidderminster Harriers have already shifted over 450 season tickets for 2011-02 with two days to go until the end of their Early Bird scheme.

Harriers today confirmed that sales were approaching the 500 mark, which the club hope to reach by the cut-off point at midday on Saturday.

That would put them halfway towards their ambitious target of attracting 1,000 season ticket holders to Aggborough for next season.

It would also go a long way to matching their entire figure for the current campaign, where 560 bought season tickets through the Early Bird and standard prices, right up until the first ball was kicked.

And Harriers still have an outside chance of returning to the Football League, with a crucial game against fellow play-off chasers Fleetwood to come at Aggborough tomorrow night.

Chairman Mark Serrell said: "Once we have got the Early Birds in, we will sort out concentrate on sorting out the squad in the close season.

"I feel confident that we are in a better place than we were just a few months ago, and what the players and manager have achieved is nothing short of extraordinary.

"We are not out of the play-offs, there are still lots of things that can happen and I am sure there will be a few twists and turns yet.

"There's going to be a lot of experiences drawn from this, whatever happens. If we don't go up this year, I believe we will be even better placed for next year.

"I am really excited about the future."
