Stafford Rangers put in a battling display to twice come from behind to secure a 2-2 draw at Worcester.
Goals from Niall Maguire and Sean Kinsella earned Rangers a share of the spoils and manager Matt Elliott was quick to praise the contribution of his midfield pair.
He said: "It was a bit frustrating in the first-half, because we played reasonably well and then conceded a goal out of nowhere.
"But we didn't let it get us down and we held our own and got ourselves back in the game with another Niall Maguire goal – and they are proving invaluable of late.
"We then concede another sloppy goal only to show great resilience and spirit again. The second goal stopped us in our tracks a little bit but not for long and we regained the initiative with Sean Kinsella's goal.
"Sean is a nice footballer but there is more to it than having sweet passes and sweet touches.
"There is another side to the game and he is slowly learning that."
With Ben Mills out with an ankle injury, Luke Keen slotted in as the solitary Rangers striker. But it was a system that has seen Elliott's men draw their last three games.
He said: "I like the balance of our team. We play a 4-5-1 but not in a negative manner as Niall Maguire gets forward as does Sean Kinsella, Marco Adaggio and Danny Edwards.
"The front six we have are all talented players and I like the balance they give us. We always encourage them to be positive and they keep grinding results out.
"They are good honest lads and they know what we are trying to do."
