Four Wolverhampton referees have been recognised for their dedicated service at the Hawthorns.

Football League official Steve Castle from Finchfield, Fordhouses-based Ron Picken, Roger Till from Wednesfield and Kelvin Brittain from Bushbury were all presented with Birmingham County FA long service awards in a special presentation in the Richardson Suite last night.

Brittain received a medal for his 21 years' service and the other three were all awarded signed certificates from Premier League referee Stuart Attwell in recognition of their 25 years.

Over 200 referees from the Birmingham County FA attended and it's hoped the dinner will become an annual event in light of the FA's Respect campaign.
