Kidderminster Harriers boss Steve Burr is hoping the club can smash their home attendance record for the season when the promotion quest continues against Luton.

Harriers' current biggest gate at Aggborough is 3,028 for the win over Wrexham on February 26, while 2,930 turned out to watch Burr's men beat Altrincham on February 12.

But the manager is hoping to meet and beat those figures with the visit of the Hatters tomorrow, who have a healthy travelling support, in a clash of the play-off contenders.

It's fifth against third at Aggborough with Harriers needing to keep up the pace in the last play-off place, against a Luton side who changed manager this week with former Walsall boss Richard Money replaced by his assistant Gary Brabin.

Brabin hits the road with the Hatters for the first time with Burr, who has been vocal in his criticism of the visitors' management change, hoping 'Fortress Aggborough' will lie in wait.

He said: "It would be nice to think we could maybe touch the 4,000 to 5,000 mark this weekend, depending on what Luton bring. That would be fantastic if we could that, it really would.

"With good football comes good crowds and, at the minute, we are managing to bring them both to the table. We are pleased about that and the support we are getting.

"Even when we went to Mansfield last Saturday, there as a good contingent of Harriers fans who travelled and it was great to see."

Harriers left-back Aaron Griffiths has joined Zamaretto Premier Division neighbours Stourbridge until the end of the season.

The 20-year-old is out of contract at Aggborough in the summer.
