Unbeaten Barking lie in wait for the Stourbridge Saxons on Saturday with director of rugby Neil Mitchell hoping to add some experience to his starting line-up.

Former Worcester and South African ace Thinus Delport could make his first start of the year at the high-flying London outfit and that would be a massive boost for the Stourton Park outfit.

Mitchell said: "Every week in this league it is the stars who shine - one individual can make so much difference.

"It is frustrating to have a side with such great potential suffering with such a lack of experience and guile.

"As a club we have to bring in some experience, some lads who have played in the the Premiership or Championship.

"Our flaw at Tynedale was inexperience. We had two attacking line-outs and we fluffed our lines. We didn't have an old head in there and you sometimes need that to bring some guile into key positions.

"Experienced players would be able to adapt their game when needed."

A try from prop Billy Moss along with a string of kicks from Jamie Hearn were not enough to stop Tynedale taking the spoils 23-14 at the weekend.

Mitchell added: "These are a tough two weeks with the trip to Barking on Saturday, who have not been beaten."

The following week we have Sedgley Park at home and I'm just hoping that we can get enough from these two tough away games to take into that match."

Fly-half Sam Robinson missed the trip to the North East with a groin strain but should be back for Saturday.
