Stafford Rangers manager Matt Elliott is ready to unleash Sean Kinsella at Guiseley after the midfielder's return to Marston Road.

Kinsella signed non-contract forms on Friday after leaving Maltese outfit Hibernians, but missed Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Eastwood due to outside commitments.

However, the 19-year-old is available for tonight's game at Nethermoor Park and Elliott is considering starting him in West Yorkshire.

He said: "Sean has been training regularly, he hasn't played a massive amount of games but he's keen to get back in the fold, so it's more than likely he will start tonight.

"He has got ability, that's for sure, so hopefully he can do a job for us."

Elliott will definitely be without captain Craig McAughtrie and Alex Forde tonight, as McAughtrie is expected to miss another week with a hip injury while Forde could be on the sidelines for a fortnight after pulling his hamstring on Saturday.

Craig Reid missed the game altogether after failing a late fitness test on a hamstring strain but will again be put through his paces tonight and Marco Adaggio could also return, after being ill for the Eastwood defeat.

Rangers now travel to face play-off chasing opposition but the hosts went seven Blue Square North games without a win before beating Nuneaton on Saturday.

And Elliott believes, if they can keep the ball better then they did on Saturday, they will cause the home side problems.

He said: "Guiseley have had a little blip of late but they produced a good result on Saturday and will be a tough proposition away from home. That said, I go into every game expecting us to get a positive result and that will be no different tonight.

"We were in the game on Saturday until we conceded the first goal but I don't want us to reflect on that result now, our ball retention wasn't was I hoping for and that will have to improve tonight.

"We have got eight games left and we will take each one on its merits, as it comes along."

Levi Reid will not be returning to Rangers before Thursday's non-league transfer deadline. The midfielder has signed non-contract forms at local rivals AFC Telford.
