Lions amateur boxing club guru Bob Dillon believes his dangerous duo have got a "good chance" of bringing ABA Midlands titles to the Black Country.
Dillon, who is also Team GB's high performance coach, will lead his fighters Ricky Summers and Jorgen Cetaj into the Midlands finals at Coventry's Triumph ABC tomorrow.
Tipton 22-year-old Summers will fight Kieron Edmonds, from Exhall ABC in Warwickshire, looking to get his career back on track after injury twice curtailed his chance of boxing for England.
The 6ft 2in light heavyweight will be joined down the M6 by Cetaj, who faces a rematch with against Dominic Deevey, from the Boxing Academy of Leicester, a fighter he has already beaten once.
The 19-year-old middleweight is orginally from Swindon and boxed for the same Walcot ABC that produced Commonwealth gold medalist Jamie Cox for the professional ranks, before moving to the Black Country three years ago and now lives in Brierley Hill.
Cetaj has won six national titles and has also been a European champion, but Summers is a fighter that coach Dillon is equally confident can bring glory to Lions tomorrow.
He said: "They have both a good chance, because they are both performing well, but it's how they perform on the day.
"Ricky is looking really, really sharp, he's been on the verge of doing something for a couple of years now. He's got what it takes, he's got incredibly fast hands and he can bang.
"Jorgen has beat his opponent before, but they are both good lads who will doing their best to pull it out.
"If we can get a couple of lads winning the Midlands, that's a major achievement but, if we can win the nationals, I think it would pick the whole of the Black Country up."
