Former world champion Jelle Klaasen will head a quartet of Dutch stars coming to Wolverhampton for a darts exhibition against fans next month.

'The Matador' will be joined by Michael van Gerwen, Co Stompe and Roland Scholten at the Cleveland Arms pub, Stowheath Lane, on February 16.

Klaasen is the youngest world champion in darts history, winning the BDO title in 2006 at 21, while van Gerwen is the youngest player to win a major televised tournament in the sport after lifting the Winmau World Masters that same year aged 17.

Stompe and Scholten have also got as far as the BDO world championship semi-finals and PDC quarter-finals during their careers.

And punters will get their chance to pit their wits against the famous four, as 16 people will be drawn by their tickets in a raffle-style manner to play a leg against their heroes, who will also face each other in a best of five, round robin tournament.

All the action on the night will be called by professional master of ceremonies 'Little' Richard Ashdown.

There will also be a sporting memorabilia raffle on the night with football, darts and snooker prizes, with the proceeds going to Compton Hospice.

Tickets for the night are £10 each or four for £35 and be purchased by calling 01902 451 021.
