Kidderminster Harriers winger Kyle Hadley could leave full-time football when his contract at Aggborough expires at the end of the season.

Hadley returned from three months on loan at Blue Square North club Harrogate this week and plans to speak to manager Steve Burr about his future at training tomorrow.

The 24-year-old is keen on staying in or near to Yorkshire after becoming a father to two-month old Honey May, with his daughter and girlfriend Hannah both living in Doncaster.

And boss Burr is desperate to raise funds of his own to bring in a new player this month, having already let Ollie Thorne join Rushden & Diamonds on a month's loan.

Harrogate are struggling to raise the money needed to keep Hadley until the end of the season but are likely to come calling again in the summer, after three goals in eight games during his loan spell.

Gainsborough, managed by Brian Little, also expressed an interest earlier in the season while Boston are also situated a relatively short distance from Hadley's young family.

The likelihood of a Blue Square Premier club coming in for him appear remote, as the wide man is still relatively unproven at the level after just 15 league appearances in two years at Aggborough.

That situation would well be the same in the summer and, with Harriers unlikely to offer him a new contract, Hadley may have to drop into semi-professional football next season.

He said: "I would to stop at the highest that I can, but I am a father and it would be ideal if I get a club more out this way.

"I have got to speak to the gaffer tomorrow, then see what happens, but it's more than likely I will go back out on loan somewhere.

"I want to be playing games, I don't want to be sitting on the bench."
