Kidderminster Harriers are expecting striker Nick Wright to be fit for the home game against Kettering.

Harriers could come within a point of wiping out the five they were docked by the league's governing body for financial irregularities last Friday with a win at Aggborough tonight, after drawing at Gateshead on Saturday.

Wright, who scored in the game, was replaced after 55 minutes of the game with cramp but is set to declare himself fit to take his place in attack.

However, Harriers could be set to miss defenders Lee Vaughan and Michael Briscoe, who have the flu, while Mark Albrighton sits out the second game of a two-match ban.

But Wright should be OK, according to manager Steve Burr.

He said: "Nick has trained yesterday with the rest of the lads and there isn't a problem.

"I think it was just a bit of cramp for him on Saturday, really, which isn't too much of a surprise given that he's not really played a lot of football lately."

Harriers will welcome former Manchester United and England winger Lee Sharpe to Aggborough next month for a sportsman's dinner.

The 39-year-old, who was born in Halesowen, will tell tales about a 16-year playing career that amassed nearly £5million in transfer fees and his subsequent move into television on Friday February 11.

For tickets, call the club's commercial manager Helen MacDonald on 01562 823 931.
